Healing Your Body Through Art
Welcome — I'm so glad you found your way here. This is a space built on radical acceptance, where your body, your story and your identity are genuinely celebrated. Whether you're just beginning your healing journey or looking to go deeper, you belong here.
Expressive Arts Therapy in Winnipeg and Online
I offer one-on-one and group expressive arts therapy sessions in Winnipeg and online. Expressive arts therapy uses creative practices to help you process emotions and explore your story in ways that words alone sometimes can’t. You don’t need any art experience or talent. The process matters far more than the finished piece.
Creative Materials for Every Body and Every Story
Sessions can include painting, drawing, clay, collage, construction, beads, pom poms, pipe cleaners, faux fur, metal, and natural and found objects, plus much more. These hands-on materials give you many ways to express what’s hard to say out loud, and we’ll find what feels right for you.
Who I Work With
I support teens, adults, and seniors, including 2SLGBTQQIA+ people, people with disabilities, and anyone who has experienced weight discrimination or struggles with body image. Your body and your story are welcome here exactly as they are.
One-on-One or Group, In Person or Online
Choose the focused attention of one-on-one sessions or the shared energy of group sessions. Meet me in person in Winnipeg or join from home online, whichever feels most comfortable and accessible for you.
I'm Chantal — therapist, artist and unapologetic fat woman. I built this practice because I couldn't find the space I needed, so I created it for both of us.

Create and Conquer is located in Winnipeg, on Treaty 1 territory. The traditional territory of the Anishinaabeg, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota, and Dene Peoples, and the homeland of the Red River Métis.
Acknowledging this is only a small part of building real, respectful relationships with Indigenous communities, building relationships rooted in honesty about the past and genuine commitment to the work of reconciliation. I hold this awareness as I show up in this work, recognizing the unearned privilege I carry as a settler on this land.
