Get to know us

The Create & Conquer practice specializes in body trauma, weight stigma and Fat Liberation. We are built on the belief that healing should feel accessible, joyful and real — that YOU are the expert on your own body and story.

Our mission

We believe everybody deserves to be celebrated, not just tolerated. Our mission is to guide individuals toward a more joyful, compassionate relationship with themselves — dismantling harmful narratives and supporting people through whatever they carry.

As a fat, neurodivergent-led Art and Expressive Arts Therapy practice, we welcome anyone seeking healing, growth, and self-discovery. While we support clients across a wide range of experiences, our specialty lies in Fat Liberation and Health at Every Size (HAES) work — understanding firsthand the experience of living in a fat body in an anti-fat world and the deep harm caused by diet culture and weight stigma.

Our work is grounded in anti-oppression, intersectionality and a commitment to accessibility and inclusion for all bodies and identities. Through one-on-one therapy, workshops, groups and online community support, we create brave spaces where clients can challenge restrictive beliefs, rewrite their life stories and transform their relationship with themselves into one centred on acceptance, pleasure, and joy.

Because you were never meant to make yourself smaller to fit into the world — you were meant to take up space in it.

Our values

At the heart of this practice is a deep commitment to radical acceptance — the belief that every person deserves care that is inclusive, affirming and free from judgment. This is a space built for everyone, with a particular commitment to fat, neurodivergent, 2SLGBTQIA+, non-binary, non-monogamous, polyamorous, kinky, aromantic and asexual folks — because everyone deserves a place where they can exhale.

We are committed to actively dismantling the systems of oppression that harm our clients — including anti-fatness, racism, ableism and diet culture. Our work is viewed through an intersectional and decolonizing lens as we strive to continuously challenge the narratives that limit us.

We follow your lead. Using an intuitive, client-centered approach, we tune into your emotional, cognitive, somatic and nervous system cues — honoring the wisdom your body already holds. Through frameworks of body neutrality, fat acceptance, fat liberation and Health at Every Size (HAES), we support you in building a loving, sustainable relationship with yourself.
